Special District Local Laws Code § 5010.0102","heading":"NATURE AND PURPOSE OF DISTRICT.","body":"(a) The district is a port district.\n(b) To the extent authorized by this chapter, the district is created to:\n(1) improve navigation in the district;\n(2) maintain, develop, extend, and improve port, wharf, dock, and intermodal facilities inside or outside the district; and\n(3) develop the Port of Beaumont in the district.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 495 (H.B. 4666), Sec. 1, eff.
