Special District Local Laws Code § 5010.0203","heading":"PLACING CANDIDATE ON BALLOT.","body":"(a) An application for a place on the ballot must be:\n(1) filed with the secretary of the board or another person designated by the board; and\n(2) signed by:\n(A) the candidate; or\n(B) 10 or more qualified voters of the district.\n(b) The filing period for an application for a place on the ballot is the same as provided by Chapter 143, Election Code.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 495 (H.B. 4666), Sec. 1, eff.
