Special District Local Laws Code § 5010.0206","heading":"VACANCIES.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (b), if a vacancy occurs in the office of commissioner, the board shall appoint a commissioner for the remainder of the unexpired term.\n(b) If the number of commissioners is reduced to three, the remaining commissioners shall call a special election to fill the vacancies.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 495 (H.B. 4666), Sec. 1, eff.
