Special District Local Laws Code § 6611.204","heading":"BOND ELECTION.","body":"(a) The board may submit a proposition for the issuance of district bonds under Section 6611.201 at an election called for that purpose at any time the board considers proper.\n(b) Chapter 1251, Government Code, applies to a district bond election except to the extent of any conflict with this chapter.\n(c) If a majority of the voters voting at a district bond election vote in favor of the issuance of bonds and the imposition of taxes, the board may:\n(1) issue, sell, and deliver the bonds;\n(2) receive, use, and apply the proceeds for district purposes; and\n(3) impose taxes on all property subject to taxation in the district.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 855 (S.B. 1162), Sec. 1.01, eff.
