Special District Local Laws Code § 6906.111","heading":"AUTHORITY OF PUBLIC AGENCIES AND POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS TO CONTRACT WITH DISTRICT.","body":"(a) A public agency or political subdivision of this state may enter into a contract or agreement with the district, on terms agreed to by the parties, for:\n(1) the purchase or sale of water;\n(2) waste collection, processing, or disposal; or\n(3) any purpose relating to the district's powers or functions.\n(b) Approval, notice, consent, or an election is not required in connection with a contract or agreement.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.06, eff.
