Special District Local Laws Code § 7886.0201","heading":"QUALIFIED WATER SUPPLY CORPORATION.","body":"A corporation is qualified to assume the district's debts, liabilities, and obligations and assume ownership of the district's assets and facilities if the corporation:\n(1) is member-owned, member-controlled, and formed under Chapter 67, Water Code; and\n(2) possesses a valid certificate of public convenience and necessity obtained under Section 13.246, Water Code.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 914 (H.B. 3530), Sec. 1.02, eff.
