Special District Local Laws Code § 7999.004","heading":"CONSENT OF MUNICIPALITY REQUIRED.","body":"The temporary directors may not hold an election under Section 7999.003 until each municipality in whose corporate limits or extraterritorial jurisdiction the district is located has:\n(1) consented by ordinance or resolution to the creation of the district and to the inclusion of land in the district; and\n(2) entered into a development agreement with the owner or owners of the real property within the district regarding the municipality's requirements for developing or improving the land.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 661 (S.B. 2267), Sec. 1, eff.
