Special District Local Laws Code § 8104.051","heading":"DISTRICT TERRITORY.","body":"(a) The authority is composed of the territory described by Section 4, Chapter 600, Acts of the 63rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1973, as that territory may have been modified under:\n(1) Section 8104.052 or 8104.053 or their predecessor statutes, former Sections 7 and 8, Chapter 600, Acts of the 63rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1973;\n(2) Subchapter H, Chapter 54, Water Code;\n(3) Subchapter J, Chapter 49, Water Code; or\n(4) other law.\n(b) The boundaries and field notes of the authority contained in Section 4, Chapter 600, Acts of the 63rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1973, form a closure. A mistake made in the field notes or in copying the field notes in the legislative process does not affect:\n(1) the authority's organization, existence, or validity;\n(2) the authority's right to issue revenue bonds or revenue refunding bonds for a purpose for which the authority is created or to pay the principal of and interest on the bonds; or\n(3) the legality or operation of the authority or the board.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.06, eff.
