Special District Local Laws Code § 8105.004","heading":"DISTRICT TERRITORY.","body":"(a) The district is composed of the territory described by Section 3, Chapter 959, Acts of the 73rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1993, as that territory may have been modified under:\n(1) Subchapter H, Chapter 54, Water Code, before September 1, 1995;\n(2) Subchapter J, Chapter 49, Water Code; or\n(3) other law.\n(b) The boundaries and field notes contained in Section 3, Chapter 959, Acts of the 73rd Legislature, Regular Session, 1993, form a closure. A mistake made in the field notes or in copying the field notes in the legislative process does not affect:\n(1) the organization, existence, or validity of the district;\n(2) the right of the district to impose taxes; or\n(3) the legality or operation of the district or its governing body.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.06, eff.
