Special District Local Laws Code § 8136.104","heading":"EMINENT DOMAIN.","body":"(a) Each district may exercise the power of eminent domain within the boundaries of the district for all public purposes.\n(b) Each district may exercise the power of eminent domain outside the boundaries of the district only for the purpose of constructing, acquiring, operating, repairing, or maintaining water supply lines or sanitary sewer lines.\n(c) Each district shall exercise the power of eminent domain in the same manner as required for a county.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 455 (S.B. 1855), Sec. 1, eff.
