Special District Local Laws Code § 8154.053","heading":"DIRECTOR'S BOND.","body":"(a) Each director shall execute a bond in the amount of $5,000 for the faithful performance of the director's duties.\n(b) The bond must be:\n(1) approved by:\n(A) the board; and\n(B) the county judge or the commissioners court of the county in which the district is located;\n(2) filed for record in the office of the county clerk of the county in which the district is located;\n(3) filed for safekeeping in the district's depository; and\n(4) recorded in a record kept for that purpose in the district office.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.10, eff.
