Special District Local Laws Code § 8199.003","heading":"CONFIRMATION ELECTION REQUIRED.","body":"(a) The board shall hold an election to confirm the creation of the district as provided by Section 49.102, Water Code.\n(b) If the creation of the district is not confirmed at a confirmation election before September 1, 2011:\n(1) the district is dissolved September 1, 2011, except that the district shall:\n(A) pay any debts incurred;\n(B) transfer to Williamson County any assets that remain after the payment of debts; and\n(C) maintain the organization of the district until all debts are paid and remaining assets are transferred; and\n(2) this chapter expires September 1, 2014.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1075 (H.B. 2734), Sec. 1, eff.
