Special District Local Laws Code § 8236.103","heading":"ROAD PROJECTS.","body":"(a) Under Section 52, Article III, Texas Constitution, the district may finance, construct, or acquire a road project as provided by this section.\n(a-1) The district may design, acquire, construct, finance, issue bonds for, improve, operate, maintain, and convey to this state, a county, or a municipality for operation and maintenance macadamized, graveled, or paved roads or improvements, including storm drainage, in aid of those roads.\n(b) Repealed by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 653 (H.B. 5413), Sec. 3, eff. June 12, 2023.\n(c) Repealed by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 653 (H.B. 5413), Sec. 3, eff. June 12, 2023.\n(d) A road project must meet all applicable standards, regulations, ordinances, or orders of:\n(1) each municipality in whose corporate limits or extraterritorial jurisdiction the road project is located; and\n(2) if the road project is not located in the corporate limits of a municipality, each county in which the road project is located.\n(e) Repealed by Acts 2023, 88th Leg., R.S., Ch. 653 (H.B. 5413), Sec. 3, eff.
