Special District Local Laws Code § 8251.004","heading":"CONFIRMATION ELECTION REQUIRED.","body":"If the creation of the district is not confirmed at a confirmation election held under Section 8251.024 before September 1, 2009:\n(1) the district shall, as soon as it reasonably knows the district will not be confirmed and before September 1, 2009:\n(A) pay any debts incurred; and\n(B) transfer to Grayson County any assets that remain after the payment of debts;\n(2) the district is dissolved September 1, 2009; and\n(3) this chapter expires September 1, 2009.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1129 (H.B. 4069), Sec. 5.01, eff.
