Special District Local Laws Code § 8251.104","heading":"MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR OF ROADS IN TERRITORY OUTSIDE CORPORATE LIMITS OF MUNICIPALITY.","body":"If district territory, or a portion of district territory, is located outside the corporate limits of a municipality, the district shall:\n(1) maintain, improve, operate, and repair any road located in that territory in accordance with the ordinances and rules of each political subdivision in whose jurisdiction the road is located; and\n(2) pay for the cost of performing the district's duties under Subdivision (1).\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 1129 (H.B. 4069), Sec. 5.01, eff.
