Special District Local Laws Code § 8283.102","heading":"APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTORS BY HOME-RULE MUNICIPALITIES.","body":"(a) If a home-rule municipality is annexed, the governing body of the municipality shall appoint a director whose term begins January 1 following the annexation.\n(b) If more than two home-rule municipalities are annexed, those municipalities are collectively entitled to appoint two directors and shall designate their directors by any method agreed to by those municipalities.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.04, eff.
