Special District Local Laws Code § 8474.252","heading":"MISCELLANEOUS DESIGN, CONSTRUCTION, AND MAINTENANCE.","body":"An improvement or recreational facility project may include the planning, design, construction, improvement, and maintenance of:\n(1) landscaping;\n(2) marinas and bridges;\n(3) lighting, banners, and signs;\n(4) hiking and cycling paths or trails;\n(5) sidewalks, pedestrian walkways, skywalks, crosswalks, or tunnels;\n(6) ponds, lakes, recreational facilities, or scenic areas;\n(7) plazas or pedestrian malls;\n(8) drainage or navigation improvements; or\n(9) solid waste, water, sewer, or power facilities, including electrical and gas power facilities.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 679 (S.B. 2297), Sec. 3, eff.
