Special District Local Laws Code § 8502.005","heading":"LIMITATION OF AUTHORITY; STATE SUPERVISION.","body":"The powers and duties granted to the authority by this chapter are subject to all legislative declarations of public policy in the maximum utilization of the storm waters, floodwaters, and unappropriated flow waters of the Brazos River watershed and developed groundwater of the Brazos River basin for the purposes for which the authority is created, as expressed and indicated in this chapter, and subject to the continuing rights of supervision by the state.\nAdded by Acts 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 996, Sec. 1, eff.
