Special District Local Laws Code § 8504.051","heading":"MEMBERSHIP OF BOARD.","body":"(a) The board consists of nine directors appointed by the governor with the advice and consent of the senate.\n(b) Each director must be a freehold property taxpayer and a qualified voter of this state.\n(c) Five directors must reside in Jefferson County, two directors must reside in Hardin County, and two directors must reside in Tyler County.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.04, eff.
