Special District Local Laws Code § 8504.202","heading":"LEGISLATIVE FINDINGS.","body":"The legislature finds that the economic development programs authorized by this subchapter are a specific public purpose and governmental function of the authority in accordance with:\n(1) Section 52-a, Article III, Texas Constitution; and\n(2) to the extent that the programs provide assistance to public firefighting organizations, Section 51-a-1, Article III, Texas Constitution.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 112 (S.B. 1026), Sec. 1.04, eff.
