Special District Local Laws Code § 8508.0125","heading":"AUTHORITY TO EXERCISE POWERS OF POLITICAL SUBDIVISIONS UNDER WATER CODE.","body":"The authority may exercise:\n(1) the powers vested in political subdivisions under Title 2, Water Code; and\n(2) the powers necessary to enable the authority to participate in programs administered by the development board, including programs for:\n(A) the acquisition and development of facilities;\n(B) the sale or lease of facilities; and\n(C) financial assistance to political subdivisions.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 468 (H.B. 4172), Sec. 1.03, eff.
