Special District Local Laws Code § 8509.0154","heading":"CONTROL OF STORM AND FLOOD WATERS.","body":"The district may:\n(1) control, store, conserve, protect, distribute, and use the storm and flood waters in the district for all useful purposes permitted by law; and\n(2) implement flood prevention and control measures in the district and prevent or aid in preventing damage to district lands and the soil and fertility of those lands.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 468 (H.B. 4172), Sec. 1.03, eff.
