Special District Local Laws Code § 8509.0205","heading":"ENFORCEMENT BY PEACE OFFICERS.","body":"(a) A licensed peace officer may make an arrest when necessary to prevent or abate the commission of an offense:\n(1) in violation of a district rule or a law of this state that occurs or threatens to occur on any land, water, or easement owned or controlled by the district; or\n(2) involving damage to any property owned or controlled by the district.\n(b) A peace officer may make an arrest under Subsection (a)(2) at any location.\nAdded by Acts 2019, 86th Leg., R.S., Ch. 468 (H.B. 4172), Sec. 1.03, eff.
