Special District Local Laws Code § 8511.0208","heading":"OFFICERS.","body":"(a) The governor shall designate a director as board president to serve in that capacity at the governor's pleasure.\n(b) The board shall elect one or more vice presidents, a secretary, a treasurer, and any other officers as the directors may determine in the bylaws or otherwise.\n(c) Each vice president, the secretary, and the treasurer must be a director, but other officers are not required to be directors.\n(d) The offices of secretary and treasurer may be combined, and the offices of assistant secretary and assistant treasurer may be combined.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 914 (H.B. 3530), Sec. 1.03, eff.
