Special District Local Laws Code § 8512.0301","heading":"GENERAL POWERS.","body":"Text of section effective on April 01, 2027\nThe authority has:\n(1) the powers of government and the authority to exercise the rights, privileges, and functions specified by this chapter; and\n(2) all powers, rights, privileges, and functions conferred by general law on any district, other than a groundwater conservation district, created under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution, except as expressly limited by this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 203 (H.B. 1615), Sec. 1.02, eff.
