Special District Local Laws Code § 8813.052","heading":"ELIGIBILITY TO SERVE AS DIRECTOR.","body":"(a) To be eligible to serve as a director of the authority or to be listed on a ballot as a candidate for director of the authority representing a director precinct, an individual must:\n(1) be at least 18 years of age;\n(2) be a resident of the authority; and\n(3) have served as a director of one or more districts for a total of at least four years.\n(b) Notwithstanding Subsection (a), to serve as a director representing, or to be listed on a ballot as a candidate for director representing, a director precinct that includes any part of the City of Fulshear, an individual must:\n(1) meet the qualifications provided by Subsections (a)(1) and (2); and\n(2) have served as:\n(A) the mayor or a member of the city council of the City of Fulshear for any period; or\n(B) a director of one or more districts for a total of at least four years.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 893 (S.B. 1798), Sec. 1, eff.
