Special District Local Laws Code § 8834.057","heading":"APPLICABILITY OF OPEN MEETINGS LAW.","body":"(a) The board shall give notice of board meetings as provided by Chapter 551, Government Code. Failure to provide notice of a regular meeting or an insubstantial defect in notice of any meeting does not affect the validity of any action taken at the meeting.\n(b) A meeting of a committee of the board is not subject to Chapter 551, Government Code, if less than a quorum of the board is present at the meeting.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1139 (H.B. 2619), Sec. 1.05, eff.
