Special District Local Laws Code § 8852.053","heading":"COMPENSATION; REIMBURSEMENT.","body":"(a) Notwithstanding Section 36.060, Water Code, a director is not entitled to receive compensation for performing the duties of a director.\n(b) A director is entitled to receive reimbursement for the director's reasonable expenses incurred while engaging in activities on behalf of the district in accordance with Sections 36.060(b) and (c), Water Code.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 1396 (S.B. 2456), Sec. 1, eff.
