Special District Local Laws Code § 8859.051","heading":"GOVERNING BODY; TERMS.","body":"(a) The district is governed by a board of seven directors appointed as provided by this section.\n(b) Directors serve staggered four-year terms, with the terms of three or four directors from each appointing county expiring on August 31 of each odd-numbered year.\n(c) A director serves until the director's successor has qualified to serve.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 884 (S.B. 2529), Sec. 1, eff.
