Special District Local Laws Code § 8878.052","heading":"ELIGIBILITY TO SERVE AS DIRECTOR.","body":"To be eligible to serve as a director of the authority or to be listed as provided by Section 8878.056 on a ballot as a candidate for director of the authority representing a director precinct, an individual must:\n(1) be at least 18 years of age;\n(2) be a resident of the authority; and\n(3) have served as a director of one or more districts or as a member of the governing body of a municipality within the authority for a total of at least four years.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 829 (S.B. 1870), Sec. 1, eff.
