Special District Local Laws Code § 8888.005","heading":"APPLICABILITY OF OTHER LAW.","body":"(a) This chapter prevails over any inconsistent provision of general law.\n(b) This chapter does not prevail over or preempt a provision of Chapter 8801 of this code or Chapter 36, Water Code, that is being implemented by the subsidence district.\n(c) The following laws do not apply to the authority:\n(1) Chapter 36, Water Code;\n(2) Section 49.052, Water Code; and\n(3) Sections 49.451-49.455, Water Code.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 869 (H.B. 2803), Sec. 1.04, eff.
