Special District Local Laws Code § 8888.163","heading":"PURCHASE OF SURPLUS PROPERTY.","body":"(a) The authority may purchase surplus property from this state, the United States, or another public entity through a negotiated contract without bids.\n(b) An officer, agent, or employee of the authority who is financially interested in a contract described by Subsection (a) shall disclose the interest to the board before the board votes on the acceptance of the contract.\nAdded by Acts 2017, 85th Leg., R.S., Ch. 869 (H.B. 2803), Sec. 1.04, eff.
