Special District Local Laws Code § 9006.205","heading":"MAINTENANCE TAX ELECTION PROCEDURES.","body":"(a) A maintenance tax election shall be called and notice given in the same manner as provided for a bond election.\n(b) This chapter does not prevent the calling of a later maintenance tax election to establish or increase the amount of tax if the board determines that a maintenance tax election is required.\nAdded by Acts 2005, 79th Leg., Ch. 729 (H.B. 2019), Sec. 1.08, eff.
