Special District Local Laws Code § 9011.102","heading":"QUALIFICATIONS FOR OFFICE.","body":"(a) A person may not be appointed a director unless the person resides in Bell County and owns taxable property in the district.\n(b) A person may not serve as a director if the person is:\n(1) a member of a governing body of a county or municipality; or\n(2) an employee of a county or municipality.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.12, eff.
