Special District Local Laws Code § 9011.104","heading":"BALLOT PETITION.","body":"(a) A person who wants to have the person's name printed on the ballot as a candidate for director must present to the board secretary a petition requesting that action.\n(b) The petition must be:\n(1) signed by at least 10 residents of the district who are registered voters; and\n(2) presented to the secretary not later than the 11th day before the date of the election.\nAdded by Acts 2007, 80th Leg., R.S., Ch. 920 (H.B. 3166), Sec. 1.12, eff.
