Special District Local Laws Code § 9016.051","heading":"GOVERNING BODY; TERMS.","body":"(a) Except as provided by Subsection (c), the district is governed by a board of five elected directors.\n(b) Except as provided by Section 9016.052, directors serve staggered four-year terms.\n(c) If the municipality annexes any part of the territory of the district, the municipality shall appoint one ex officio member to the board to serve as a sixth director.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1043 (H.B. 3111), Sec. 1, eff.
