Special District Local Laws Code § 9017.061","heading":"OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE TAX.","body":"(a) If authorized at an election held under Section 9017.060, the district may impose an operation and maintenance tax on taxable property in only the defined area in accordance with Section 49.107, Water Code.\n(b) The board shall determine the tax rate. The rate may not exceed the rate approved at the election.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 1261 (S.B. 942), Sec. 1, eff.
