Special District Local Laws Code § 9047.106","heading":"LIMITATION ON USE OF EMINENT DOMAIN.","body":"The district may not exercise the power of eminent domain outside the district boundaries to acquire:\n(1) a site for a water treatment plant, water storage facility, wastewater treatment plant, or wastewater disposal plant;\n(2) a site for a park, swimming pool, or other recreational facility, as defined by Section 49.462, Water Code;\n(3) an exclusive easement through a county regional park; or\n(4) a site or easement for a road project.\nAdded by Acts 2013, 83rd Leg., R.S., Ch. 624 (S.B. 1841), Sec. 1, eff.
