Special District Local Laws Code § 9055.056","heading":"NOTICE OF ANNEXATION ELECTION.","body":"At least 10 days before the date set for the election, notice of the election must be published one time in a newspaper of general circulation in the district. In addition to the requirements of Section 4.004, Election Code, notice of the annexation election must:\n(1) state the conditions under which the territory may be annexed; or\n(2) refer to the resolution of the board for that purpose.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 855 (S.B. 1162), Sec. 1.06, eff.
