Special District Local Laws Code § 9088.0102","heading":"NATURE AND PURPOSE OF DISTRICT.","body":"(a) The district is:\n(1) a conservation and reclamation district under Section 59, Article XVI, Texas Constitution;\n(2) a water control and improvement district; and\n(3) a municipal corporation.\n(b) The district's sole purpose is reclaiming and draining the district's overflowed land and other land needing drainage.\nAdded by Acts 2021, 87th Leg., R.S., Ch. 914 (H.B. 3530), Sec. 1.04, eff.
