Special District Local Laws Code § 9501.002","heading":"AUTHORITY TO ESTABLISH COMMISSION.","body":"(a) The commissioners court and the governing body of a municipality in Matagorda County by resolution may establish a seawall commission to perform the functions described by Section 571.002, Local Government Code.\n(b) A resolution authorized by Subsection (a) must specify the date on which the commission is established.\nActs 2003, 78th Leg., ch. 1277, Sec. 1, eff.
