Tax Code § 311.020","heading":"STATE ASSISTANCE.","body":"(a) On request of the governing body of a municipality or county or of the presiding officer of the governing body, the comptroller may provide assistance to a municipality or county relating to the administration of this chapter.\n(b) The Texas Department of Economic Development and the comptroller may provide technical assistance to a municipality or county regarding:\n(1) the designation of reinvestment zones under this chapter; and\n(2) the adoption and execution of project plans or reinvestment zone financing plans under this chapter.\nAdded by Acts 2001, 77th Leg., ch. 471, Sec. 4, eff.
