Transportation Code § 172.105","heading":"REMOVAL.","body":"(a) The commissioners court that appointed a director may remove the director from office for neglect of duty or malfeasance in office after:\n(1) at least 10 days' written notice to the director; and\n(2) a hearing before the commissioners court.\n(b) At the hearing on the question of removal of a director, the director is entitled to be heard in person or through counsel.\nAdded by Acts 2009, 81st Leg., R.S., Ch. 85 (S.B. 1540), Sec. 2.04, eff.
