Transportation Code § 192.001","heading":"ISSUANCE OF PERMIT.","body":"(a) A railroad company shall issue an engineer's operator permit to each person whom the company employs to operate or permits to operate a railroad locomotive in this state.\n(b) A railroad company shall issue a train operator permit to each person:\n(1) whom the company employs to operate or permits to operate a train in this state; and\n(2) who has not been issued an engineer's operator permit.\nAdded by Acts 2011, 82nd Leg., R.S., Ch. 91 (S.B. 1303), Sec. 24.101, eff.
