Transportation Code § 201.003","heading":"TITLE CHANGES.","body":"(a) A reference in law to the State Highway Department, Texas Highway Department, or State Department of Highways and Public Transportation means the Texas Department of Transportation.\n(b) A reference in law to the State Highway Commission or State Highway and Public Transportation Commission means the Texas Transportation Commission.\n(c) A reference in law to the State Highway Engineer or State Engineer-Director for Highways and Public Transportation means the director of the Texas Department of Transportation.\n(d) A reference in law to the commissioner of transportation means the chair of the commission.\n(e) A reference in law to a member of the commission means a commissioner.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
