Transportation Code § 201.9932","heading":"PROJECT RECOMMENDATION CRITERIA.","body":"Each planning organization shall develop its own project recommendation criteria, which must include consideration of:\n(1) projected improvements to congestion and safety;\n(2) projected effects on economic development opportunities for residents of the region;\n(3) available funding;\n(4) effects on the environment, including air quality;\n(5) socioeconomic effects, including disproportionately high and adverse health or environmental effects on minority or low-income neighborhoods; and\n(6) any other factors deemed appropriate by the planning organization.\nAdded by Acts 2015, 84th Leg., R.S., Ch. 314 (H.B. 20), Sec. 4, eff.
