Transportation Code § 22.053","heading":"TIME WARRANTS.","body":"(a) The commissioners court of a county with a population of 12,200 to 12,400 may issue time warrants to:\n(1) condemn or purchase land to be used and maintained as provided by Sections 22.011, 22.020, and 22.024; and\n(2) improve and equip the land for the use provided by Sections 22.011, 22.020, and 22.024.\n(b) The commissioners court of a county that issues time warrants under this section shall comply with:\n(1) Subchapter C, Chapter 262, Local Government Code, regarding:\n(A) notice to issue the time warrants; and\n(B) the right to a referendum; and\n(2) Chapter 1251, regarding the imposition of taxes for payment of the time warrants.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
