Transportation Code § 223.007","heading":"CONTRACTS.","body":"(a) The commission shall prescribe the form of the contract and may include any matter the commission considers advantageous to the state.\n(b) Contract forms shall be uniform as near as possible.\n(c) A contract must be:\n(1) made in the name of the state;\n(2) signed by the director or the director's designee;\n(3) approved by at least two members of the commission or a designee under Section 2103.064(a), Government Code; and\n(4) signed by the successful bidder.\n(d) The commission may delegate its authority under Subsections (a) and (b) to the director, who may delegate the delegated authority to an employee of the department who holds the rank of division director or higher.\nActs 1995, 74th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 1, eff.
