Transportation Code § 223.151","heading":"APPLICABILITY.","body":"This subchapter:\n(1) applies to services of a technical expert, including an archeologist, biologist, geologist, or historian, to conduct an environmental or cultural assessment required by state or federal law for a transportation project under the authority or jurisdiction of the department; and\n(2) does not apply to services defined as engineering by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors under Chapter 1001, Occupations Code.\nAdded by Acts 1997, 75th Leg., ch. 165, Sec. 30.15(a), eff.
