Transportation Code § 225.243 (11)","heading":"DOUG PITCOCK AGGIE EXPRESSWAY.","body":"Text of section as added by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 890 (S.B. 3034), Sec. 1\nSee also other Secs. 225.243 added by the 89th Legislature.\n(a) Notwithstanding Section 225.001(c), the portion of State Highway 249 in Grimes and Montgomery Counties between its intersection with State Highway 105 and its southern intersection with Farm-to-Market Road 1774 is designated as the Doug Pitcock Aggie Expressway. The designation is in addition to any other designation.\n(b) Subject to Section 225.021(c), the department shall:\n(1) design and construct markers indicating the designation as the Doug Pitcock Aggie Expressway and any other appropriate information; and\n(2) erect a marker at each end of the highway and at appropriate intermediate sites along the highway.\nAdded by Acts 2025, 89th Leg., R.S., Ch. 890 (S.B. 3034), Sec. 1, eff.
